Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet our representative at the airport, thereafter transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of New & Old Delhi. Drive past the buildings of the British era - the India Gate, Parliament House & the Presidential Palace. Continue onto the beautiful Humayun's Tomb of the Mughal era. Later, explore the towering Minaret the QutabMinar.
In the afternoon, visit Old Delhi of the Mughals comprising of the Red Fort & the Jama Masjid. Also visit Raj Ghat-the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight in Delhi
Day 03 : Delhi / Imphal
After breakfast transfer to airport to catch a flight for Imphal. On arrival meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a walk in the local market. Overnight in Imphal
Day 04 :Imphal / Kohima
Depart for Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. In the afternoon visit - Kohima War Cemetery, The State Museum having rare collection of artifacts of the different tribes which inhabit the state.A shopping trip to the daily market and visit Gurttel for traditional Naga fashion mementos. Overnight in Kohima
Day 05 :Kohima
Toady, visit the Konohoma village, an Angami village which lies 20 km west of Kohima. Walk down through the narrow streets to visit Dahua, a central meeting place of the KekoIhukho house, which is beautifully decorated in traditional style. In the afternoon, visit Viswama village of the Angami tribe. Overnight in Kohima.
Day 06 :Kohima / Imphal
After breakfast depart for Imphal and on arrival in the evening, check into the hotel. Overnight in Imphal.
Day 07 :Imphal
Full day sightseeing of Imphal. Visit - Manipur State Museum, War Cemetery - The British and the Indian army cemeteries commemorating those who died in the 2nd World War. SaheedMinar - This Minar at BirTikandrajit Park in the heart of the capital commemorates the indomitable spirit of Manipur martyrs who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the British in the year 1891.
In the afternoon, visit - ShriGovindajee temple, adjoining the palace of the former rulers of Manipur.Time free to visit IMA Market, a unique all women's market in the heart of the town. Overnight in Imphal
Day 08 :Imphal
After breakfast excursion to Ukhrul 83 kms East of Imphal, a centre of the colourful warrior tribe TangkhulNagas. Overnight in Imphal
Day 09 :Imphal / Shiroi
In the morning, drive to Shiroi, famous for a particular type of land lily, called the Siroi, grown on the Shiroi Hills. In the afternoon, visit Shiroi hills and Khangkhui lime caves. Overnight in Shiroi
Day 10 :Shiroi / Sanshak
In the morning, drive down to Sanshak. Sanshak was the last point where the Japanese forces had arrived during the 2nd World War. Sanshak is a very large Tangkhul Village with more than 500 houses. One can get a microscopic view on their traditional life and architecture. Overnight in Sanshak
Day 11 :Sanshak / Jessami
In the morning drive to Jessami, which was also occupied by the Japanese forces during the 2nd World War. The Tangkhuls of Jessami differ slightly in dialect and customs from the Sanshak area. Overnight in Jessami
Day 12 :Jessami / Imphal
In the morning return to Imphal. In the afternoon, visit Langthabal, this small hill with relics of an old, historical palace, temples of architectural importance and ceremonial houses. Overnight in Imphal
Day 13 :Imphal / Moirang (45 Kms) / Imphal
In the morning , depart for Moirang, which is 45 kms away. It was here that the flag of the Indian National Army was first unfurled on April 14th,1944. Visit the INA Museum, Loktaklake and Sendra Island, visit centre of Meitei folk culture. Later continue to KeibulLamjao National Park which is the only floating National Park in the world on the Loktak Lake.. Overnight in Imphal
Day 14 :Imphal / Delhi (Flight)
Morning free to relax.In time transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Delhi.Upon arrival transfer to international airport for your flight to onward destination.
