Itinerary Details
Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar (211 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)
After arriving in Delhi, meet an MHC tour representative who offers you an assisted transfer to the holy city of Haridwar.
En-route, do not forget to get your Biometric done before starting the Yatra. On arriving, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, treat your eyes to the magical Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Paudi, on the banks of River Ganga followed by dinner. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Haridwar – Uttarkashi (192 Km/ 4 hrs)
On day 2 of Teen Dham Yatra tour, get an on-road transfer to the holy town Uttarkashi, placed at an above sea level of 1352 meters.
Located on the banks of River Bhagirathi, this town is quite popular for being home to several temples, historical structures and ashrams. Visit the very popular Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. This old temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (99 Km / 2 - 3 hrs)
After munching breakfast in early hour, begin your road journey to Gangotri dham. Lying on the Greater Himalayan Ranges, on the banks of Bhagirathi River, Gangotri is placed at an altitude of 3100 meters above the sea level.
One of the Chardham destinations, Gangotri is the seat of river Goddess Ganga. Visit the Gangotri temple, made in white granite stone during the 18th century. It is close to the popular spot where it is believed that the holy river came on earth after King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Perform pooja. Back to Uttarkashi in the evening for dinner. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (189 Km / 5 hrs)
On the 4th day of Teen Dham Yatra after an early breakfast, check-out of the hotel and hit the road to Guptkashi, a holy town on an above sea level of 1319 meters, on the west side of Mandakini River.
After completing the check-in formalities, you are free to explore the place on your own. Make sure that you get your Biometric done before Kedarnath Yatra. After dinner have an overnight stay.
Day 5: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (33 Km + 12 Km trek)
After a quick bite at the hotel, begin driving towards Gaurikund, your base destinations for Kedarnath trek. On reaching, get ready for Kedarnath Yatra that can be undertaken either by a Palki/Palanquin ride or a horse ride (at your own cost).
This trek route is popular for picturesque locations. Kedarnath dham is dedicated to Lord Shiva, placed at an above sea level of 3583 m above the sea level. It is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
As you reach, complete the check-in formalities at the camp or lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi (12 Km trek + 33 Km)
On day 6 of Teen Dham Yatra, get-up early before dawn and visit the Kedarnath temple before 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ or Pooja of the Lord.
Also go inside the Grabha Griha that has the main idol. After Darshan, return to the lodge/camp and complete the check-out formalities. Embark on Kedarnath-Gaurikund trek.
As you reach Gaurikund, parked vehicles are parked for you to take you to Guptkashi. On arrival, post check-in dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (205 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)
Today after breakfast, start your road journey for Badrinath Dham, through Joshimath. The route is an extremely mesmerizing one. After arriving, check-in at the hotel for some rest and refreshments.
The evening is scheduled for temple visit but before visit Hot Springs/Tapt Kund to take a dip in the hot waters.
Thereafter, visit the Badrinath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. One of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu, it is also called Badrinarayan temple. Return to the hotel. Dinner and stay overnight.
Day 8: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (165 Km / 5 - 6 hrs)
Visit Badrinath temple again in the morning of day 8 of Teen Dharm yatra. Breakfast is followed by sightseeing including Mana Village- the last village on India-Tibet border, Vyas Gufa- an ancient cave where sage Vyas stayed during the writing of the 4 Vedas, inhabited by Indo-Mangolian tribe, Mata Murti temple-on the banks of Alaknanda River and Ganesh Gufa, cave where Lord Ganesha wrote the great Hindu epic of Mahabharata. Post sightseeing, hit the road to Rudraprayag, the holy city.
En-route, take a stoppage at Karnaprayag, one of the Panch Prayags of Alaknanda. It is the confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and Pindar. After reaching Karnaprayag, check-in at a hotel. Dinner and stay overnight.
Day 9: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (161 Km / 3 to 4 hrs)
An early morning breakfast is followed by an on-road transfer to the spiritual city if Rishikesh, popular all around as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. blessed with a serene ambiance, it houses a number ashrams and spiritual centers. It is visited by spiritual seekers from all over the globe.
On reaching Rishikesh, visit the suspension bridges of Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, the very prime attractions of Rishikesh. Later, proceed to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 10: Haridwar – Delhi (230 Km / 6 to 7 hrs)
On the final day of Teen Dharm Yatra tour, after breakfast, continue your read journey to Delhi. As you arrive in Delhi, get transferred to Delhi Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
