Day 1 : Arrive in Madurai | Drive from Madurai to Kodaikanal (146 km)
On arrival in Madurai, proceed to Kodaikanal. Reach and check in at the hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 :Sightseeing in Kodaikanal
After breakfast, visit Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks and Bear Shola waterfalls. In the afternoon, spend some time in Bryant Park and visit Kodai Lake. It is a man-made star-shaped lake spread over 60 acres. Return and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Drive from Kodaikanal to Rameshwaram | Sightseeing in Rameshwaram
After breakfast, drive to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed for a local tour of the town. Legend says that Ramanathaswamy Temple stands where Lord Rama performed worship of a sand lingam made by Sita. Other places of interest in Rameshwaram are Dhanushkodi, Agnitheertham Gandamadana Parvatham etc. Stay overnight at your hotel in Rameshwaram.
Day 4 - Drive from Rameshwaram to Madurai | Sightseeing in Madurai
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Madurai. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later in the day, visit the Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Temple, Art Museum, Puthu Mandapam and Raya Gopuram. Return to the hotel after the tour and have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5 - Depart from Madurai
After breakfast, check out and drive to Madurai from where you will depart on your return journey.
