Day 1: Chennai

On arrival at Chennai airport, meet our representative who ll guide you to
one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. After resting for a while,
embark on a sightseeing tour of Chennai. The major tourist attractions in
Chennai include the Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral,
Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery. In the evening visit the
beautiful Marina. Don t try swimming at Marina beach since there are strong
currents present along the shoreline and no rescue equipments and
lifeguards are available at this beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

Next morning after breakfast, move out on a sightseeing tour of
Mahabalipuram. The major attractions to visit include the Shore and the
Five Ratha temples, Arjuna s Penance and the Tiger caves. After the visit
leave for Pondicherry. As on reaching Pondicherry, check-in at one our
listed hotels. Rest and relax for the day. In the evening you may take a
leisurely walk to the local market of Pondicherry. Return to the hotel for
overnight stay.

Day 3: Pondicherry - Swamimalai

Post breakfast, set out to explore the Pondicherry for its diverse
attractions like the coastline of 32 Kms, palm-fringed beaches, backwaters
and fishing villages. Later in the afternoon visit Aurbindo Ashram and
Auroville. After visit drive to Swamimalai. Stop midway to visit
Chidambaram, and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. On reaching Swamimalai, transfer
to one of our listed hotels. Later in the day visit the Swamimalai Murugan
Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Swamimalai - Tanjore

After breakfast head straight to Tanjore. Tanjore is known as the city of
temples as it has many famous temples in and around the city including the
Navagraha temples. On reaching Tanjore, check-in at one of our listed
hotels. After resting for a while, set out on a guided city tour of Tanjore
including major tourist destinations like the Vijayanagar Fort, Shiva Ganga
Garden, Aalangudi temple, Brahadeshwara temple and the Chandra Bagawan
Temple. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Tanjore Departure from Madurai

Post breakfast on the last day of the tour, get transferred to the Madurai
airport to go aboard a flight for your onward destination.

Day 01  : Arrival Chennai

Arrive Chennai, meet assist at the airport and transfer to hotel. Later proceed on a half Day sightseeing tour of Chennai covering St.Thomas Church, Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George and drive past the Marina Beach. Night stay in Chennai.

Day 02  : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram( By road )

After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram.

Mahabalipuram is a small, quiet seaside resort with a unique 7th century Shore Temple, a lovely beach and some of the most beautiful rock cut temples in the world. Situated on the shore of the Bay of Bengal, Mahabalipuram was already a famous seaport in the 1st century AD. This, town was a workshop for temple building. Visit the seven pagoda style shore temples, lashed by the waves of the sea and the seven rathas or temple chariots, a group of monolithic monuments & animal figures carved out of solid rock, the earliest known examples of Dravidian architecture. They were constructed in a single century long burst of creative enthusiasm, starting in the reign of Narasimhavarman 1 (AD 63068). End the visit by photography of the beautiful Shore temples at sunset.

Kanchipuram known as the Golden City of a Thousand Temples, is one of the oldest towns in India.It is famous for both its temples, many of them remarkably wellpreserved and for its hand-woven silks.

Famous Temples of IndiaKanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India and it is the only one associated with both Shiva and Vishnu. Visit Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, the Vaikunthaperumal Temple, all built in the 7th and 8th centuries.With a weaving tradition dating back to the Pallava era (when silk was the royal cloth), Kanchipuram is justly famous for its particularly fine silk saris, embellished with stunning patterns. Visit the local homes of the weavers and watch them create magic out of silk thread into saris. Night stay in Kanchipuram.

Day 03 : Kanchipuram - Trichy ( By road )

After breakfast drive to Trichy. Afternoon proceed on a half Day city tour of Trichy covering Rock Fort Temple. Night stay in Trichy.

Day 04 : Tanjore

After breakfast drive to Tanjore. Later visit Thanjavur Palace, the Brihadishwara Temple and Fort. Night stay in Tanjore.

Day 05 :  Tanjore - Trichy - Chennai - Departure

After breakfast drive to Trichy to board the flight to Chennai to connect the onward flight.
