Mudumalai is between the Bandipur and Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuaries, the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary is a continuation of Bandipiur’s reserve and is most renowned for its elephant habitat. The river Moyar flows between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and runs inside the sanctuary.
