By Train :- There are trains starting at City/ Yashwanthpur Rly stations to Kadur/ Birur. Fast trains take about 3 hrs. Avoid shuttle/ mail trains. On alighting you may take a bus to Chikamagalur which is 40km from Kadur, 50 Km from Birur.
