Itinerary Details
Day 1: Delhi
On reaching Delhi airport, meet our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. After resting for a while, embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi.
The major tourist attractions of Delhi include Lotus temple, Red Fort, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Raj Ghat and the Qutub Minar. In the evening revisit Red Fort for an impressive light and sound show. Return to the hotel for a sumptuous dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 2: Auli
Next morning after breakfast, drive straight to Joshimath. On reaching Joshimath, take a cable car ride to reach Auli located at a height of 2750 mts. Auli is the most popular skiing destination of Uttaranchal State. Upon reaching Auli, check-in at one of our listed resorts.
After relaxing for a while in the cozy comfort of its room, move out to explore the beautiful surroundings of Auli. Also enjoy the 180 degree view of different snow peaks. The highest peaks among them are Nanda Devi, Choukhamba, Panch Chuli, Doonagiri and many other peaks.
DAY 3 – 4: Auli
In the morning after breakfast, head to a skiing excursion at Auli. One can take either a Chair lift of 800 meter or a 500 meter to reach the top area of the slope to start skiing. The slopes of Auli provide enough thrills to professional skier and novice as well.
Auli is considered amongst the best skiing place in Asia by the skiers of different countries. The instruction for skiing if required will be provided by qualified instructors. Enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel in Auli.
Day 5: Rishikesh
Post breakfast, transfer to Joshimath by 25 minutes cable car ride. On reaching Joshimath sit back in the car awaiting you to drive straight to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is renowned as the yoga capital of India. Shot to fame internationally after the arrival of the Beatles, Rishikesh is a spiritual and holy town by the bank of the holy River Ganges. Upon arrival you may stay at a hotel or alternatively stay at one of the river camps in Shivpuri.
Day 6: Rishikesh - Shivpuri
Today we will do some local sightseeing of the holy town of Rishikesh and visit temples. Later we'' head towards Shivpuri for a thrilling white water rafting excursion. The rafting from Shivpuri to Rishikesh is a 14 km long adrenaline rush adventure. Afterwards, we'd go for lunch and then you have the option of either relaxing or more local sightseeing and shopping for souvenirs.
Later return to the hotel/camp for stay overnight.
Day 7: Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Delhi by Road. Upon reaching Delhi board a connecting flight for your onward destination.
