Destination Covered : Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir - Pelling - Darjeeling
Day 1 - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (120 km / 5 hours)
Arrive in NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and drive to Gangtok (5500 ft.). Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Gangtok.
Day 2 - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (55 km / 2 hours)
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a journey to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), which is located 55 km away from the city of Gangtok. Stay overnight in Gangtok.
Day 3 - Gangtok - Pelling, via Char Dham (150 km / 5 hours)
Relish a delicious breakfast and drive to Pelling (6,300 ft.). En route, visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and Siddhesvara Dhaam (Char Dham) in Namchi. On arrival, check in at the hotel and stay overnight in Pelling.
Day 4 - Pelling Sightseeing
After a wholesome breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour. During the first half, visit Darap Village, Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake and Rimbi Waterfalls. In afternoon, the second half of the tour takes you to Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay is arranged at Pelling.
Day 5 - Pelling - Darjeeling (80 km /4 hours)
After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.), via Singla check post. On arrival, check in at the hotel and spend the day based on your convenience. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 6 - Darjeeling Sightseeing
Take a drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft.) early in the morning (at 04:00 AM) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft.). Visit Ghum Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. Have a delicious breakfast and visit Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Sunday closed) and Ropeway. The evening is free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay is arranged at Darjeeling.
Day 7 - Darjeeling - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (75 km / 3 hours)
After a sumptuous breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to NJP Railway Station / IXB airport for your onward journey.
